I think Austin has a reputation for being a vortex for creatives and people with alternative lifestyles, which inherently means more singles. A factor contributing to the single lifestyle and population is Austin's largely educated population, many of whom are still students. More numbers should increase a person's chances, but I am unsure if there is ever an accurate way to quantify "best".
